Guided excursion to Monte Grona

La Grona, in addition to being a magnificent observation point the center of the Lario also offers great botanical varieties. The ascent to the mountain requires a medium workout ed hiking experience.

We will leave on foot from the ancient village of Breglia, located in 750 meters of altitude, above Menaggio. We will follow the suggestive mule track up to Breglia mountains and from there we will undertake a circular route which will include a stop at Menaggio refuge, where we will find a fountain to cool off.

The trails will become more challenging as we approach the summit, which stands at 1736 meters high. To reach it, we will have to overcome a short stretch of fixed chains, designed to facilitate ascent and descent.
