Baradello Castle, located in Como, Lombardy, is an enchanting place that offers a historical walk enriched by a breathtaking panorama. This ancient fortress, dating back to the 10th century, stands on a hill overlooking the city and Lake Como. The walk to reach the castle is a suggestive experience: through chestnut woods and cobbled paths you follow a climb that leads to the top.
Once you arrive at the castle, the panorama that opens up in front of you is simply magnificent. From the castle walls, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the city of Como, the lake below and the surrounding mountains. The lake stretches to the horizon, with its sparkling waters reflecting the sky and mountains, creating an atmosphere of serenity and beauty.
The walk to Baradello Castle is an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in history and nature, while enjoying a spectacular panorama that will enchant visitors of all ages.
To get to the top of the Baradello hill it is possible to start from Piazza Camerlata or Piazza San Rocco.
If you choose to leave from Camerlata and arrive by car we recommend parking in Via Scalabrini, from here you just need to cross the road towards the square (in the direction of the pharmacy) and take the cobblestone street on the left.
Another possible starting point is, as already mentioned, Piazza San Rocco. Finding parking in this case is a little more complicated.
