To reach the Volta Temple on Lake Como and immerse yourself in the atmosphere rich in history and innovation, it is possible to follow different routes depending on your preferred means of transport.
By car: Those traveling by car from Milan can take the A9 motorway in the direction of Como. Once you reach Como, we recommend following the signs for the city center and then for Tempio Voltiano. The temple is located near the lakefront, and there are several car parks available nearby to facilitate the visit.
On the train: Como San Giovanni train station is well connected to Milan and other cities in the region. From the station, you can take a taxi to reach the Volta Temple in a few minutes, or you can opt for a pleasant walk along the streets of the center to the shores of the lake.
On a boat: A suggestive way to reach the Volta Temple is by lake. During the summer months, navigation services are available on Lake Como. You can take ferries or boats that offer a unique panoramic view while landing near the Temple.
On foot or by bike: Como is a very pedestrian-friendly city, and the Tempio Voltiano is easily accessible on foot or by bike from the center. A walk along the lakeside offers an enchanting view, and the Temple will be visible on the lake shore.
