Agriturismo Il Ronco: An oasis on Lake Como

My name is Marida, an amalgamation of Maria ed going, representing respectively the Princess , warrior woman.

My story is simple, made of passions and a great dream. It began when, having reached a breaking point with the past and with myself, I discovered a interior strenght that I didn't think I had.

This strength allowed me to start again from scratch and make my dream come true: opening a farmhouse to Bed & Breakfast and a farm.

I was born in Garlate, a charming village on the banks of the Lake Como, but I left everything to pursue my primary passion: the photography.

After years of intense work as industrial photographer, I realized that I had abandoned an essential part of myself: the creativity.

One morning I woke up, I took my faithful one camera and I decided without hesitation to return to my roots.

I purchased an 700th century farmhouse and its estate overlooking the lake and the mountains, starting a process of conservative restoration. From the beginning I knew it would be a challenging job, but it never scared me.

Even though it took years to complete the restoration and get to this point, I consider myself lucky to have discovered this corner of paradise and to be able to share it with others.

I don't know what brought me here: maybe the final destination, maybe mine determination, or maybe both. With the help of mine family and mine team, I made my dream come true, opening the wonderful farmhouse Marida's Ronco.

The passion and care we put into cultivation of our products are reflected in the dishes of our restaurant. We only use ingredients from our own farm to offer an authentic culinary experience, with recipes that combine seeds e innovation.

Our cuisine, based on genuine ingredients e local, will give you authentic flavors of the Lombard tradition in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere.

Bed & Breakfast: A Haven of Tranquility

Discover the silence , peace of nature in our Bed & Breakfast. Our three rooms, characterized by warm colors e wood beams exposed, they offer a splendid panorama of the lake.

After a sweet night's rest, you can enjoy a breakfast included prepared with products a kilometer zero, many of which are made by us as bread, cakes, jams e honey.

Our farmhouse is located in a strategic position, a short distance from the city of Lecco and cycle path along the lakes di Garlate and Olginate.

You can explore the Valsassin for skiing in winter or to enjoy regenerating walks from spring to autumn. The surrounding mountains offer countless opportunities for outdoor activities.

At ours , you can purchase Ronco products, carefully cultivated on our estate for more than ten years. Olives, brown, small fruits, vegetables e ancient fruits they are waiting for you to bring home a piece of ours corner of paradise on Lake Como.
