Cascina Selvetto was born on the southern slope of Monte Barro , nestled in a protected natural oasis.
A place that we can define as magical, located a few steps from the center of the town of Sala al Barro, guarded by an isolated mountain of the pre-Alps 922 meters high.
Here, between the lake and the mountains, the views merge with history: ancient paths and forgotten villages hide what over the years have become archaeological parks belonging to the Gothic age.
An area that over time has been frequented by shepherds , farmers and wealthy landowners who revolutionized the landscape by introducing olive groves and vineyards and which have become an agricultural tradition for this place rich in terraces and vegetation.

Cascina Selvetto offers various horseback riding itineraries , led by a certified equestrian guide.
The excursions are tailored to the rider's experience, offering scenic rides even for beginners . Among the various itineraries offered: a horseback tour of the charming ghost town of Consonno, picturesque Lake Annone, Mount Barro , and Mount Brianza.
In the spring and summer, Cascina Selvetto comes alive with aperitif-picnics , aperitifs based on local products in a bucolic setting: bales of hay, lights, and picnic blankets will help you enjoy the splendid setting of this oasis in the middle of the woods accompanied by live or local music.
